The Old Grey Church

The Old Grey Country Church. Time has stripped paint and weathered board, but not dimmed the faith of the small congregation that calls this their earthly home. The sound of music lofts though the sanctuary with the joy of a people who know where they are headed. The summer sun has left its mark but not faded the hope that fills the heart. My memories of the small church my grandmother went to still fill me with awe, the love in the little congregation could be felt as soon as you walked through the doors. Though my memories of the outside of that special place have faded this is my humble tribute to their joy! Watercolor on paper 11/15 frame not included.
